Bettenhaus stands in solidarity with the Community of Squatted Prosfygika!

Bettenhaus joins the international campaign of solidarity with the squatter community Prosfygika in Athens. For years, the Greek government has been trying to evict the inhabitants of this community, depriving them of the autonomy they have earned through their own hard work. This is yet another example of how we cannot trust the state and that our freedom must be built from the left and from below. Solidarity with our comrade Aristotelis Chantzis, who is on hunger strike until the pressure on Prosfygika and all the inhabitants of the community ceases. Below we reproduce the international call for donations to finance the necessary renovations to the neighborhood’s infrastructure:

SAVE PROSFYGIKA

As we have announced already in summer 2025, we are answering to the state plan of a violence and eviction with a self-funded and self-organized restoration of the buildings of the Community of Squatted Prosfygika.
We have already started with multiple steps such as the full renovation of our collective Kioski and a woodworking campaign to renovate the doors and windows.
We ask for your financial support to be able to continue with our collective works and restorate step by step the whole neighborhood; up next are the historic balconies and facades!
Donate now in our Firefund , set up repeating donations to the bank account mentioned in the post or spread or share our campaign through solidarity events and talking about it with your friends and family!

OUR ANSWER TO REPRESSION IS CREATION
WE WILL WIN OR WE WILL WIN
